Yoni (meaning home, encompassing the entire female reproductive system) steaming is an ancient form of womb care with roots from all over the world. It involves sitting on a cedar wood stool while the steam from hand crafted herbal blends comes through to relieve womb irregularities. While it can help with painful or irregular periods, infertility, PCOS, fibroids, pelvic floor injury, and so much more, it is also extremely effective at deepening your connection to your feminine, your womb space, moving stuck energies from trauma and emotional blockages in your root and sacral chakras, and opening your heart in times of strain and stress.

I trained with Steamychick as a yoni steam practitioner after discovering this practice and deeply resonating with it’s gentle ways of restoring feminine power. No! The steam should be warm but not hot to the point of burning you. I always walk clients through testing the temperature to see what works for their body. Temperatures can be adjusted as needed!

Yoni steaming can be used as a routine self care practice like massage or chiropractic, but this depends on your symptoms and desire for healing. Multiple sessions closer together can take you on a deeper journey, or spreading them out can steadily pace your healing. Some bodies respond quickly, some bodies need more work. I walk you through listening to your body and each appointment includes a consultation for us to go over all the things!

You should NOT steam when you’re pregnant, on your period, after a cesarean, during an active yeast infection, an active HSV outbreak or any other active STD
